Market analysts noted that despite cautious overall market trading, the banking sector remains favored due to its stable earnings capability and potential dividend yields. Investors are closely monitoring upcoming bank financial reports to assess asset quality and net interest margin performance. Additionally, Tenaga Nasional saw a slight increase of 0.2% to RM10.52, while Petronas Chemicals edged down 0.3% to RM6.78.
